New Vacancy: Finance Assistant
The Finance Assistant will assist both the Finance Manager and Revenue Manager with day-to-day tasks including general accounts tasks, credit control and purchase ledger.

Hours: 09.00 – 17:30 Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 Friday
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Revenue Manager and Finance Manager with daily tasks:
- To assist in the collection of client debt via telephone, email and/or letter.
- To inform and resolve any issues or disputes on client accounts that may prevent payment.
- To build internal stakeholder relationships to assist in the role.
- To build external client relationships to assist in the collection of cash.
- To ensure that appropriate action is taken against accounts that are in default, in line with internal policies.
- To maintain client account records to communicate previous actions taken.
- General administration duties
- Issue statements to clients by email.
- Take card payments from clients paying invoices and in respect of monies on account.
- Deal with general invoice queries.
- Monitoring client account for inbound payments.
- To set up payments on online banking and obtain authorisation from Partners.
- Post disbursements to system.
- Assist with month end billing.
- Post invoices to purchase ledger.
- Weekly payment runs to suppliers.
- Assist with credit card expense allocations.
- Assist with allocation and payment of employee expenses.
Skills Required
- Experience within a accounts environment.
- A clear and confident communicator who delivers high quality client services.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Organised and efficient way of working.
- Interest in a fast paced, target driven environment and working within internal SLAs.
- Strong team player who works well with others and appreciates working towards group goals.
Support
A Finance Assistant will be supported in all aspects of the role by their colleagues within the Operations Department and particularly the Finance Manager and Revenue Manager.
Ongoing training and development will be provided to all members of the Operations Department on a regular basis, together with opportunities to for furthering their career.
