Bermans corporate team advise on acquisition
The Manchester corporate team at Bermans advised Nottingham-headquartered engineering business through its acquisition by US owned Brennan Industries Inc.
Sale based Camlee Group (Lee Wojtkiw and Max Perry) provided corporate finance advice on the deal and will see Miric Engineering join the Brennan Group with the acquisition expanding Brennan’s global manufacturing footprint to five centres worldwide.
Miric was established in 1991, which manufactures standard and special fittings and adapters and works across the material handling industry, tube manipulators, off shore market, OEMs, and other end user markets.
David Yates of Miric said:
“I am very pleased with the outcome of the process, this is great news for the customers and staff of Miric. Brennan is a multinational player with an excellent reputation in the critical flow components sector.
“I would also like to thank the guys at Camlee and Bermans for their drive and determination to get this deal over the line.”
Jon Davage and Robin Hastings of Bermans in Manchester provided legal advice to the vendors.
Bermans Head of Corporate, Jon Davage said:
“This is a great deal for Miric and will assist with the growth of the company. Certainly, exciting times ahead for the merged group as a result of this acquisition.
“The Bermans team were delighted to be involved in this deal, and we look forward to seeing the group thrive in the future”
